Neda Johnson Photography finds new home
Neda Johnson is excited about moving her portrait photography business out of her home and into downtown Albert Lea."It's a dream come true. It's what I've wanted for the last 10 years," she said.Neda Johnson Photography, 112 S. Broadway Ave., opens Jan. 29, she said. The store offers photography services for weddings, children, families, groups, high school seniors, college graduates and other moments in life.Johnson, 33, grew up in Owatonna and Medford. She attended Mankato State University back when it had that name, but she didn't go to school for photography. She ended up working for Lifetouch School Portraits, with her studio in Mankato. Her job was to shoot school pictures all over southern Minnesota. She has shot pictures of children in Albert Lea, Wells, New Richland and Austin, among others.She then worked for Robin One in Albert Lea and seven years ago began her own portrait photography business in her home.
